If there are any trainers on team mystic or valor that have the ability to single handedly or with friends take on gyms fairly easily I’d really appreciate y’all taking this one down, as I want my tyranitar back very badly. This gym has been up for almost two weeks and I just want to boost him 😭

I can take it down this weekend if it’s still up.

Ronso, I feel your pain on the long term gym thing. For me, its a Gyarados, that I can easily power up over 3000 CP and a Dragonite to boost over 3300 CP. They have been in gyms for, seriously, at least a month and probably closer to two. Do not know how to tell how long. My problem is I have not a clue one where they are. Too bad there is not some way to find out or even recall them after a certain amount of time if you wanted.

I like keeping my gyms for as long as I can so I can collect coins every morning! 😂 We even took over gyms in rural areas so there’s not much competition. I just evolve new ones to power up. 👍I just hatched a 💯 IV larvitar! I still need 27 candies tho. I got the egg from Galveston (sea wall).

Some of those rural areas are hotbeds of activity, too, but they seldom have 10-level gyms, so there is room for newbies.  I can tell that the inner-loop people have starting migrating out to the suburbs now, so I have to start migrating out even farther.  All the gyms I worked hard for are now routinely level 10, and I’m starting to have 3000 CP ones get shaved from gyms.  I can’t get back into the gyms I’ve been battling for all year because they are constantly level 10, and I don’t recognize half the names anymore.

So, I’m with you, Volt.  If I have a stable gym, I’m very happy, and will just work on getting new pokemon to power up, rather than hoping someone kicks me out.

If kicking someone out of a gym so he/she can get better (and likely thump you later) isn’t representative of the open spirit of this place, I don’t know what is.

Lol. Amen to that.
