The pokemon and the amount of pokestops I’m finding in Pasadena are crap. Any suggestions as to where to go?

Come around 610 to the southwest quadrant. Or go downtown. Better yet, Brod, go to La Porte if you want volume. What level are you? What are you trying to accomplish right now?

I’m trying to get better pokemon to be able to take over gyms a little better. I’m level 27, currently the strongest pokemon I ha e is a 2350 rhydon. I have never had a strong spawn EVER. Even for the rhydon it took me a few weeks and a shit ton of balls and candy .

The only place I’ve ever hunted in Pasadena is Burke Crenshaw Park near Pasadena Memorial High School.  There is a pond with a trail around it with a decent amount of pokestops.  I farmed for Magikarp there back when I was going for the Fisherman medal.  The spawns were mostly garbage, but I did get a Snorlax and 2 Dratini there on various trips, and lots of Magikarp and Rattata (and Psyduck, Slowpoke, other commons).  If I’m remembering correctly, it takes about 15-20 minutes to do a loop, and it works as a place to walk to hatch and catch a little while maintaining your items.  I haven’t been there since Gen2 dropped, but I suspect the Magikarp spawn density took a hit in favor or Gen2 water commons.

For interesting spawns, your best bet is Galveston, downtown Houston, or check the Silph Road Nest Atlas for local nests.

Crenshaw doesn’t nest.  Mainly Magikarp, slowpoke and psyduck.  It does have 10 stops and 2 gyms.  It might be more useful though if some of those stops become gyms.  Also may be able to get enough players together there for the raids.

Strawberry park is a nest area.  Don’t know what is there now.  Had been cyndaquil a few weeks ago.

I’ll check it out. I have this weekend off. I’ll check out what’s nesting. As everything seems to have changed this week. My usual magikarp nest is now a slow poke nest
