Need to find a Machop nest. Anyone know where I can find one?

Been searching for a while, but only in the Southwest Area, Sugar Land Memorial Park, Rice Park Trail in Katy, Eldridge Park and a small Trail in Missouri City.

Anyone have any ideas?

The Silph Road Nest Atlas has two on the list this rotation: the water gardens area at Hermann Park, and Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens in Spring.  Both sound like decent nests worth traveling the distance for.

Thanks a ton, I’ll be headed in that direction shortly. Well the Water Gardens that is, don’t think I’ll make it all the way to Spring today.

Ron Slockett Park, turns into a Machop farm, however it is a tiny park with one pokestop and one gym and it only produces 2 to 3 Machops every 20 minutes. Currently, it is not spawning Machops, but I’ll let you know when it does.

That is Nob Hill Park. SW of Gessner / Hammerly. 5 stops as well, plus pull-up bars. Swizzle.

Pull-up bars are how the Machops get so bowed up.

That’s probably why they spawn there.  If you want a Machop nest at your local park, petition your Parks Dept. to have pull-up bars added.  Of course, our local park (which has pull-up bars and a lot of other odd pole thingy stations where I can’t quite figure out what I’m supposed to do there) has only one spawn point, so that wouldn’t be much of a nest.

Our park just installed pull-up bar a month ago, lol

Caught this booger at Nob Hill this afternoon. Then caught a couple more.

No pull-ups, though. It was a drive by, as Zeus and his pantheon were up to watery mischief and the clouds had just began their deluge.

Studly little guy!

Tanks. Now just hoping to get enough candy to beef him up before the park is no longer a nest.

Thankfully, he’s already high cp. Won’t need to waste a lot there.

And hope for the right moveset.  That’s the biggest disappointment with these buggers.  It seems really difficult to get the ideal moveset on Machamp. Once you already have a great Machamp, just evolve those high-level Machops once.  At the cost of only 25 candies, you get a great Machoke prestiger out of the deal, instead of killing yourself to get 125 candies, only to be disappointed by the moves.

Dos is our resident savant when it comes to gyms.

No way, lots of people here are way ahead of me on those battle stats.  I’m persistent, though 🙂

Maybe so. But knowledge-wise, you are da bomb!

Buddha, I went to Nob Hill Park yesterday at lunch, caught 4-5 Machops in maybe 20 minutes. Thanks for the tip!

Quite welcome. We go to that park often.

I already have a 95% machamp near maxed out with counter / dynamic punch, so I will use your idea. I’m saving the candy for my new one, because 6+ per level up on a 2497cp is kind of a waste when I have other uses.
