that is true and if you monitor the cheater’s forum, all you hear is cheaters making comments like I just lost 500 accounts, and all the cheaters do is create new ones with differnet variables, and tell each other what is working and what is not.
You have to believe that Niantic is monitoring those sites as well. Problem is the more restrictive they make the game, the less fun it could be for us. Kinda like society, how to balance security and freedom.
Yep. This isn’t affecting people who are selling high level accounts or putting mons on gyms and collecting coins. At least not in a bad way. Those spoofers are still good. The shadowbans only really affect those who are running the radars. And since the level 30 accounts they are buying are getting shadowbanned, cause and effect dictates that in order for them to get their radars back in a position to read all mons again (common and rare), this shadowban can actually help the spoofers business in that the radars have to purchase new level 30 accounts from many of those same spoofers. As Ghost says, there is a plus and minus to every move they make. The real problem is that the radar that Niantic offers in their game is essentially a shadowbanned radar. I mean in general it pretty much only shows commons. Of course Niantic won’t fix it because that is a big part of their guaranteed revenue stream right now. So it is what it is. So for better, for worse, Niantic will continue to bleed players. Hopefully the next update will actually affect actual spoofers. That would be impressive. I’d rather have the old radar back. But I guess hurting spoofers would be good too.
After replying, the very next thing I saw under pokemon go articles was this. And this is why Pokemon Go will never ever have a good radar ever again. Ever hear the adage Hand Over Fist? That is what Niantic should change their name to. Just sayin.
