Yay! Thanks for making this post and keeping it stickied! So convenient.

Maybe include a link to https://thesilphroad.com/research ?

It has tons of useful info.

I noticed the link with the real time pokemon tracking was excluded. And I haven’t seen the link again, was it deleted for cheating? I wanted to mention I feel like an app w/ that purpose should be considered cheating.

Never seen that, where did you see it ?

I don’t remember deleting any links.

From CarlGoBoom

As far as it being cheating, I’m not sure if it is or not.

It’s definitely more cheat-y than a guide, but not as much of a blatant cheat like mods or hacks.

for now I consider it as my replacement for the step radar since Niantic won’t fix the dang game.

From Joemeister3720

I’d consider it a hack, or exploit of the game, while amazing and definitely beneficial, I wouldn’t promote or condone the use of this. It defeats the purpose of a HUGE part of the game, to go out and explore. It defeats the purpose of having an in game tracker and this is clearly not how the developers meant the game to be played. It’s up to Admin, but this is my 2 cents on it.

exploit I can agree with. Definitely not intended use, you’re right on that point.

I got you.
The reason you couldn’t find it is because I posted it in my own thread a while ago, it was never in this one.

Here it is: https://pokevision.com/

Let’s you pick a gps location and see exactly what Pokemon are there and how long they will be there.

It’s under maintenance at the moment because of increased workload, but it is god dang amazing especially with the three step glitch going on.
I’m going to be using it after the glitch is fixed anyways.
Hope this helps!

Ok, so I found the most useful tool out there right now for pokemon go.

This site tracks in real time where pokemon are located.

PokeVision

I have tested it and it works!!!

Please put this up top!!

just did, thank you again!

I deleted the other post you reported, indeed a scam after I google it, and the user only had that 2 posts after registration, a bit too obvious, thanks man!

Two things:

  1. The Pokemon go houston map has been vandalized, if you click the link there is a new one linked on the map. Maybe make the link go directly to that?
  2. There’s a website called http://www.pokemongomap.info/ that show all the gyms and pokestops in houston, which might be better since nest data is unreliable at best at the moment.

I can confirm the map link posted is up to date mostly for the NW side (290/249). Thanks, Joe.

I will not be adding them to the list since we already have a reliable cp calculator on the list. If a post comes up showcasing your apps I might close(or delete) the thread because of the same reason that I’m not adding them to the list. Sorry.

For a list of the best Move Sets based on damage per second (DPS) during battle I like to use

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-08-02-pokemon-go-moves-movesets-move-list-and-highest-dps-attacks

Instead of scrolling just search for a pokemon using command-F (ctrl-F) or the “find” feature in your cell phone browser.

🙂

I would suggest the app Poke Genie for those who have not seen it yet. Great for getting Iv percentages as well as a quick and easy evolution and power up calculator. One of the very few 5 star rated apps I have seen and I agree.
