Mary Jo Peckham park in Katy seems like a vulpix nest. Went there this morning to check it out what kind of Pokemon was there. I did a lap around the park and caught him 2 vulpixs and when I got to my car I saw 3 or 4 more in my nearby Pokemon list. Will come again in the next couple of days to see if it’s the same then.

Macgregor park near UH is also a vulpix nest. Spawn rate is slow. Caught 12 vulpix today in about 3 hours.

Yeah it is I went there yesterday with some friends and I caught 18 of them in about the 3hours. They spawn all over the park so you have to walk around to catch them.

I think I saw dratinis still spawning at lone star college cyfair before pokevision was cut off, can anyone confirm this?

This is confirmed.

How many?

We typically visit Lone Star in the evenings but have caught up to 4 in an hour (3 Dratini and a Dragonair). Before the last patch that ‘fixed’ the radar system, it was really funny to hear someone shout “Dratini!” and then a large group of people say “He’s full of it” but then watching them all run for the same spot.

The spawn there has not been consistent for us. We’ve been there during the early afternoon and evenings. Evenings seem to be when we actually encounter them.

We did catch 1 Dratini yesterday at Hermann Park near the Obelisk/Arcade. That was around 1 or 2PM but was the only one we saw. Didn’t stay around to see if another would show on radar.

Are there a decent number of pokestops at Mary Jo Peckham as well? Or do you need to go loaded up with supplies?

Are there a decent number of pokestops at Mary Jo Peckham as well? Or do you need to go loaded up with supplies? From Breal0124

I think there was about 2 pokestops around the lake. one at pier and the other at the back left corner entrance. i think there were other in the surrounding areas of the inner park.

Went yesterday. Caught 11 Vulpix in 2 hours.

From the building in the park to just North of the pier is where Vulpix were spawning.

North of the pier and south of the building they dropped off radar. Only 1 pokestop on the pier and the others are too far out and we missed a spawn or two exploring. Personally, I’ll go loaded with supplies.

At level 24, they were still orange to me as low as 200 cp.

I went by in Saturday and one 1-3 stops if I recall correctly. Meh, I left too hot and too slow of nest.

If you’re planning a trip to that park I suggest you drive around the town before you reach the park and after when you’re heading home. Because it’s in a historic district they literally have lines of pokestops around the town. We stacked up on pokeballs and before we went there I only had 40 pokeballs but I left that evening with 177. 🙂

I went to Tranquility Park last night and it seems to be a magickarp nest. I caught 6 of them in about a 20 minute span. The area near Tranquility and the Aquarium seems to be good for mankey as well. I caught one mankey at the Aquarium and another one at Tranquility

I don’t know if it’s a nest but I caught 2 Drowzee in about 20 mins at Sylvan Beach Park, along with a bunch of other stuff

Trainer

Not a nest but they do pop up from time to time. Not sure how things have changed since yesterdays nest changes.

Anyone keeping a Houston ‘nest map’ up to date?

Trainer
on February 21, 2017

Nope. Just using the Silph Road Global Nest site.

Trainer
on February 21, 2017

Atlas, not site.

Where are the new nests in Galveston? I have found two spots that spawn dratini but haven’t found a consistent nest.

Trainer

I’d recommend keeping an eye on the Silph Road’s Atlas. It’s pretty accurate.
