Buddy candy four times as fast. Would be nice if hatchies gave the same, but the release omits any such mention. Darnit.

Regardless, I feel so some field trips to Bane in our future.

Huh! Just read the release. Thanks for the link Buddha. At least my Larvitar buddy is going to work her moneymaker, I mean candy maker, for a week.

This is finally an event we need in Houston!  I love my RT/SE Golem, and hope to get another.  Fossils, meh, not so much (nor Onix, but I guess Steelix could become useful after the gym rework??).  I hope Larvitar is included!

Are Golems any good for fighting gyms, cause I have a good one, but never powered it up?

Yes, Golem rocks! (bwahahahaha)  If you’ve got Rock Throw/Stone Edge, great attacker for the current meta

… and more items dropping from pokestops, which will be nice but will require some serious bag management.  Half price pokeballs, too, if you run out, plus a new avatar hat for all you fashionistas.

We need bigger bags, not more items, lol

Dos, now you have really got me excited! I just went and checked and yes, Larvitar is a rock type! As well as adding to my Aerodactyl Air Force.

A tear just welled up, in my left eye, thinking about about a 100% IV Larvitar…

So, I presume rock types will be more prevalent in eggs, too, but who knows.  All I know is that I plan on doing a whole lot of walking to power up a Blissey.  That’s been very slow going so far, especially as I got to the 8-candy-per-power-up stage.  I never seem to get a good IV Rhydon, either, so maybe I’ll get lucky this event.

Pro tip from Silph Road: If you can manage it, get your buddy to 4.9 out of 5 km just before the event starts.  Then when the event starts and the distance switches to 1.25 km, you’ll instantly be rewarded with 3 candies and be at 1.15/1.25 on your way to the fourth candy.

They need another event that gives out incubators. Oh, and a fighting and ice event would be nice (of course these are the ones I need to complete the gold dex)
