So I did a thing…

There’s a group of mystic guys near my neighborhood that always have a certain church on lockdown. I got tired of driving past it all the time so this morning at 5am on my way to work I parked at the church and took the gym. They had 3 Pokemon in there (highest CP was 1024) and I used my snorlax to win.

Long story short, kicked their collective butts and left a CP20 Rattata named something to the effect of “MysticStinks”

I don’t actually have any prejudice against other teams I just want to see if this elicits a reaction from the group that always owns it haha…

There is a team of Instincts, that have kept a level 10 gym since the game started, well yesterday I did a thing too. It took me a good long while to take the gym down. To my surprise only 4 of my pokemons fainted per try until I had the gym down to level 7.

Lapras and Dragonites are just freaking awesome at battling gyms, they can take down 4 high CP pokemons before they faint.

They won’t be able to see your nickname.  Niantic blocked that in case people used inappropriate names

Wow, I hadn’t noticed that you could no longer see the names you gave your pokemons

I did a thing yesterday, too.  Level 9 gym had been sitting for a week at a local sandwich shop.  I ate lunch there yesterday and took it down.  Took a longggggggggggg  time and lots of revives/potions.  Felt good, but I was kicked out and it was back to level 4 within the hour.  Turns out the employees play.

Locked out of the restaurant or the game 😨

He got kicked out of the restaurant because the employees play. LOL

That is terrible, for business.

No, not kicked out of the restaurant!  My pokemon was kicked out (gone from the gym) within the hour.  My rampage was all for naught… although it will take them awhile to get it back to level 9, at least.

Hey Joe – or any other Valor/Instinct who is interested, if you happen to be in the Cypress area near the North Cypress Medical Center, please go beat the crap out the level 10 gym “Cancer Horse” in the back.  I spent 20 minutes leveling the thing to lvl 10 and some idiot drove up and sniped the last open spot from me.  Tempted to start a new Valor account just to go hunt the jerkwad.

Also, please don’t take out any of the other lvl 10 gyms in the area that I”m in 🙂

Happen to me all the time. Some jerks just wait around to do this to pizz people off.

So true I defeated a gym then leveled it to level 7 and never got to put my pokemon on it.
